Ok, I've searched and found a few posts about these tires, nothing looks too bad but I wanted to make sure before I buy.  For a vintage look it seems like this might be my only choice other then Cheng Shen.  Is anyone running these right now? How do they stack up?  I'm looking at around $110 for rubber only, are there any modern tread design tires THAT FIT CORRECTLY in the same range (cause I havn't found any)?

Also, the stock size is 3.25 front and 4.00 rear, no?

Check out americanmototire.com.  Plenty of choices of modern tires that fit these bikes and a few options for modern tires with classic style tread designs.

Well, changed my mind... It's having a set of Dunlop D404's installed right this very moment.  Can't wait to try them out
