Topic: Will an Air chamber from a CB550F work on a CB550K?

Honda shop said they could get one so I chopped up the old one.  Now they say they can't get one! I'm screwed!

Ebay has several for the 550F and '75 but the numbers don't match for the '77K. The F version looks SLIGHTLY different.

Does any body know if they will work?

The air chamber and the rubber couplers are unique for the 77-78 Cb550K.

Might wana check some of the salvage yards for one in good shape.  Here are a few in Michigan.

As TT said the 77/78 550 is different, all the other 550 are the same and even the 500 (but NOT the bit the filter fits in)
