hey, chaps are not always gay....  chaps can be hot!

Yeah................. on chicks! Otherwise, saying Chaps are hot is GAY! :D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Sure, you were warm, but remember my motto:

There is a spanish proverb that goes in the line of "as long as I'm warm, I don't care if the people laugh"

That being said, I would not wear chaps if there are other options available, but only because I don't like them, not because everybody else doesn't like them. What I do in winter is to wear long cotton underwear. It really makes a difference and you don't go around looking like a rough rider.

So, do you wear pants over those long undies Raul............. ? (if you don't, that's GAY!) ;D

That sounds really......well, you know.  ;D

I wear long underwear (yes, Terry, under my jeans) in the winter and have been plenty warm enough down to 35deg. I think everyone's tempurature tolerence if different though. As long as my toes and fingers are warm, I'm pretty comfy.

If you're comfortable wearing chaps then so be it, just remember that they don't protect your butt. And don't be appalled if some senator hits on you in the men's room.  ;)

Speaking of Senator's:

Why don't Senator's like bookmarks?

They prefer their pages bent over.         :o
