Hey from SC!
« on: September 05, 2007, 08:12:01 PM »
Just wanted to introduce myself...I'm in Greenville, SC and just got my first bike.  Took an MSF course a few weeks ago and wanted to get something w/ a classic look, good history, plentiful parts, and less expensive.

After doing plenty of searching around and talking, I chose a 76 CB750 to start riding.  She's in pretty good shape...17k on the motor, good paint, no major issues so far.  The chrome and aluminum need some attention, so I've started polishing...

Looking around the site has gotten me excited about riding and also working on the bike...should be an adventure!

Here she is...first on the list are a new seat cover, emblems, exhaust paint, and engine cleanup.  I'm sure "the list" will keep getting longer...

Welcome to the forums. I'm new too, but have already learned quite a bit just by readiing older post and using the search button. Great people here.
Nice looking bike, and looks quite clean. See it already has a 4 into 1 exhaust. Are you going to keep it basicly stock or go for the cafe look? If you stay around here it's hard to say where you will end up with upgrades!!

Nice bike and welcome. You will be surprised at the attention you will get with one of these bikes when people walk past a 10,000 or 15,000 bike to look at yours. Dannie
