« on: September 25, 2009, 09:31:01 AM »
Congratulations to the BuB Team and their #7 Streamliner..

New record is .. 367.382 in the mile (average of both ways)
 September 24, 2009.

Way to go, you guys worked hard to get this, was nice to meet some of you earlier this month, and Kudos to the BuB group for putting on Bub Speed trials (aka bike week).

They may have, they did 350 & 355 during BUB  in early Sept..

 To set a record,
you have to exceed by 1% the existing record, with 2 runs, one each way.. averaged out.

 BTW
Jon Amos, last week ran a 272mph one way, was the fastest situp bike ever, but he blew up on the backup run..Kawi , I think 1000cc or 1100cc!
Probably 3 or 4 years a go Wheeler with EZ Hook , single engine Kawi, ran a 355, but failed to back it up!.. the record back then was 340ish and the last 2 record holders are all running twin motors, or at least 2x the displacement of Wheelers machine..
