It is amazing what a little Mothers polish, new pipes, and a proper size chopper back tire will do. The tank has been sealed, cam chain and valve lash checked, new plugs, and fluids. I just have to straighten out some wiring, and bolt the new seat and all the other goodies back on to be done. I also discovered the wheel crush drive rubbers were shot when I mounted the tire so replacements finally arrived and rear wheel will be coming back off. The pipes are still Mac 4into4 but the later smaller size without the spigot mounts. The old pipes were leaking badly at the head on cylinders 2 and 3 so I am hoping for some increased performance also. I had to change out all the mounting hardware, but some used on Fleabay reasonable. I probably won't ride this bike 200 miles in a year, but damn I just like the look.......
