Anybody Got Anything Good To Say About Rice Paddy?
« on: August 28, 2007, 06:37:34 AM »

I know that this is about Good Folks & Bad Folks Subject but, I wasn't sure where to post the question, so here it is.

You see, I could use a left rear motor side cover (sprocket/starter cover). I've posted this in the "Parts Wanted" and also stated that Rice Paddy has one. Noone has come up with a response and I'm kinda considering trying to get that one from them. :-\ Anyone? ???

                                    Later on, Bill :) ;)

Boy I do not know if any has gone through them for sure. I seem to remember either elcheapo or buffo but I cant be sure about that.

It's a business thats still in, well business right?  I can't imagine that all their transactions with customers can be bad experiences.  They got what you need, give em a call and see if they'll send a pic to confirm it's what you want and in the condition you want.  If sh!t hits the fan and theres a problem you can always call on the local bounty hunters! ::)

I've purchased stuff from them twice without incident. The first time was in person. They actually seemed pretty cool. The second time was through ebay. My order (Keyster carb kit) was shipped and received with no problems. I've had good and bad experiences with a few different companies(like cycle re-cycle), but sometimes they just have something that you need.

Kinda got mixed feelings on this one. Gotta respect the feelings of those who responded too!

Thing is, my CB400F has a Starter/sprocket cover off of a 350f and the shift linkage doesn't fit quite right. Their's is the only one I've seen for quite a while. :-\ And it's only $22. Nobody else seems to have one for now. What to do?

I just bought an entire CL exhaust for my 175 from them for $36 including shipping.  It came in without issue within a week or so (including the Labor Day holiday).  Opened it up and it appears to be just what they said it was; both pipes and the rear burn guard.  The whole transaction seemd OK to me.

And yeah, I know I have CB's and not CL's, but my mufflers are rotted out and I like the high-side exhaust look, besides I already have a couple of the CL side covers.  ;D
