Wow this is really cool, I accept your nomination. Truly an honor to be included with all these other great bikes.
I built the thing for my wife with several thoughts in mind.
1) Lower it because she is 5'2" (later model 404 forks, 18" front rim, 80 section tires, seat)
2) Reduce the weight to as close as possible to her 400F. (the 550 ended up 395lbs)
3) Set up ergonomics to resemble the 400F (handlebar - seat - footpeg distance)
4) Increase engine power but with good low & midrange.
I'm using 400F gauges, modified headlight bracket, footpeg brackets, rear brake pedal, chainguard and handlebars.
Also 600F3 footpegs, handlebars switches so the choke lever is on the left switch.

One of the things I'm proud of is the pipe. I bought a Mac header (that has a porcelan like finish) on E-bay, cut it off at the collector, and used thinwall SS pipe from a swimming pool ladder cut & fit for ground clearance back to a GSXR muffler. Total cost $185.00. It's quiet but growls like a mini GSXR!
It makes excellent power with a very usuable powerband, suspends superbly, and handles like it's on rails. My wife is quite pleased. It was either proceed with this project or buy her an SV650, a no-brainer. Most of the donor parts bikes I had here.
Thanks again for noticing.
