Whats the hole in the seat for on the CR? Is it for placing the family jewels?

Hmm, $1,000 US gets you 4 pipes not silenced -that sounds like a good deal. It's about what I've got in a "raw" set of TomCats and they only come in sets of 3. I say raw because they flash-rust almost overnight. By the time I've added silencers, paid a welder to fabricate the mounting brackets (did that yesterday), and then have these chromed - we're looking at $2,000. I'd say those CR replicas are a steal!!

Gordon, I think you are missing what I was saying. The swarbrick exhaust system for the CR750 is a do it yourself kit.
The down pipes are ready formed and terminate under the sump when fitted. The meaphones come straight and if you offer them up to the pipes you have no room for your back wheel. all the cutting and welding to get them to fit is down to you. >:( >:( >:(

Sam, I know all too well the pains and agonies of pipe fitting. These are my 2nd set for this H2. The first ones just did not perform to expectations -

I know these pieces look simple to piece together, but the trick was getting all of the angles and routing to go around that hand-built swingarm - especially that middle cylinder. Oh, and they said "don't shave one mm off those cone pieces unless you do all three cylinders the exact same.

Do you have some of your pics? I love seeing those kind of challenges. It makes bolting and fitting of "stock" parts like they were look easy.

Thanks,
Gordon

Awhile back this came up and someone recommended Jemco for a CR exhaust, said they were cheap too: http://www.jemcoexhaust.com/index.html

If you do a forum search for "Jemco" I'm sure the thread will pop up.
