Well, today, I made a purchase on the old ebay, of a CB77 crankcase for a decent price. Now, I can actually build the CB77 motor in an ACTUAL CB77 crankcase! Things are definitely looking up!

Well, I finally am getting able to post an old (1968) picture of my old 66' CB72 Hawk (Super Hawk Wannabe) in action against a 250 Suzuki dirt bike. And I won too! I've got another picture that I'll get up on here tomorrow that shows me running against a CL77 (note the CB350 gauges on mine) With open megaphones, that CB72 sounded great! ;D You'll have to slide the picture over, to see my 250 Hawk. This bike got me going with the old Super Hawk type bikes. Also, I've found that a buddy over on the hondatwins forum (who I actually first met on CB450DOHC.com) has an old Super Hawk motor that's not too good on the outside but might have some pretty good internal parts and I can't have everything worth having, for the cost of shipping.

Heh....looks like that old hawk will get to soar once again..

With any luck, the old Super Hawk will become a FULL BLOODED Super Hawk again and hit the road running ;D ;) This little project will hopefully be completed by the first of the year. I've got a lot of work to do on this sucker, as you can see by the pictures. ::) I've got some changes in mind, that I want to check out before I devulge any more than I already have. ;)
