Very Nice! I like the silver swingarm and love the blue tank.
You may want to weld a foot onto your kickstand or your nice bike may take a liking to hot asphalt.

Nice looking bike is the swingarm powder coated?
Is that kickstand one of the extended ones off of ebay? I was looking at something similar to that the other day it said that it was like 11" if I remember right and I wasn't sure how that would work on my bike. I have the stock stand on mine but I swapped out the rear shocks for late model 750 shocks and I'm kind of worried about the lean that I have now.
Bike looks great and can't wait for more photos.

The rear swingarm isn't powder coated, but is painted with some high performance wheel paint and then clearcoated, really tough stuff. The kickstand is extended, and was bought from a vendor on Ebay for under $20 if I remember correctly.

How is the lean on the bike while it is on the stand? What shocks did you use?

The lean on the bike is really really close, i'd say about 95`degrees. the shocks are pro lift` or something like that. I believe they are stock 13/.. in high. The kickstand 'looks' like it is screwed together but I am not sure on that. I would like to get at least a 115`degree lean on it. I'm going to check it out tomorrow and perhaps put a long pipe on it and give it a nudge to lean it out a bit.

I would be interested to know how that goes and if you can get it to work. The shocks I have are about the same length and with the stock stand it has a pretty dramatic lean. I removed the center stand because for one it looks horrible and two because I can't use it unless I want to pack a 2x4 around with me.

ok.. I spent an hour or so tuning the ignition and the carbs... I was getting that annoying sputter and lean backfire. Tuned the carbs with the fuel mixture screw (78` carbs) 2-1/2 turns out adjusted the ignition to run slightly advanced..puuuuuuuuuurs like a kitten at just under 1000rpm. Very snappy response when kicking it some gas... all and all I am a happy camper!! Here are a few more pics... I definately need to get a new seat!!!!!!!!!
now the research begins on either reworking or sending it out someplace.. or something!!!! The seat is killing my look!

I wouldn't have cut the fender before I got the seat worked out to make sure I had the right look, but that's just me.

I was checking out the lean on the bike with my new extended chrome kick stand.... it was a bit too ... 90`ish. So I deceided to take a die grinder and cut out about 1/8" (if that much) out from the stop that the stand rests against when put down. Just a little off the left and a little towards the top (where is forms an upside down 'L' formation.) The bike now has a good 15-20' of lean to it, no more worries about the bike falling over!
Now to address the issue I came across after taking it for its maiden voyage.... i'm in Arizona and while buzzing around the block in my shorts, I felt hot little burns on my right calf/shin. I noticed this before I rebuilt the bike... I fear that the head gasket is seeping oil very very slowly.
I SOOOOOOOOOOOO DON"T WANT TO HAVE TO REPLACE THAT GASKET AGAIN!!!!!!! I checked it out and found that there wasn't oil dripping anywhere BUT did see that the gasket looked a little wet.. not even 3 miles on the bike yet !!! AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
