Air mix screw
« on: October 08, 2007, 01:39:52 PM »
Reading the manuals (Clymer and Haynes) they speak of turning in the air adjustment screw on the carbs, then backing out 1 turn, and making 1/4 turn adjustments.  My 75 750F air mix screws have a stop on them that permits just less than 1 full turn.  Am I missing something?

Thanks!

haha i thought the same thing. they should be little black plastic caps on top of the actual air screws pull them of and you'll see the actual brass screws. thats how mine were on my 76ss.  8)

Thanks, AJ.  I wondered, but didn't want to try to pull them off without having confirmation! ;)
