New paint for stocker...
« on: July 13, 2005, 05:39:20 PM »
Whats up guys...thought I'd share my work.  This took about 3 weeks and $50...2 cans primer, 2 cans of base, and 2 cans of clear (Walmart Dupli Color), and Meyguires swirl remover #9.  I followed this method.

Holy Shoes!

I can't believe your bike looks so good, and you were able to follow those instructions. I am going through the repainting woes myself now, but suspect I will defer to the experts. In the People's Republic of Pennsylvania, I can work those hours it would take to embark and stay engaged in this process, and earn the money (and then some) to pay for the "professional" touch. I also do not believe there is a single day above 60 degrees without wind, bugs or leaves on my property. My hat off to you, however, for a job well done!

Nice paint mate, but you gotta do something about that seat, it's FUGLY! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

That's right Sam, f***ing Ugly! No offence Dig, otherwise a nice looking ride, just don't like that lounge chair strapped on the back! Cheers, Terry. ;)
