Hi Folks!I'm coming over next week.Is there good Sohc-shops in New York?

Hi,
Most shops in the NYC metro area won't touch our "old "bikes. Most of the ypung kids behind the parts counter don' t know anything about these bikes.
When are you arriving and where are you staying?  Looking for anything in particular?

The only shop that I'd recommend for SOHC4s in the tri-state area is House of Honda in Mamaroneck, NY.  I've never had any work done there,  but they've had a part or two that I needed in stock.

Circle Cycle in Ridgefield, NJ is a decent shop, but I don't think you'll find anything special for SOHC4s there.

Amol in Bergenfield, NJ is closed now, Bergen Sport Cycle in Lodi, NJ is way overpriced.  Camrod/Motorsport on 11th Ave is a tremendous ripoff for service, and never had anything I needed in stock.  Cycle Therapy on 39th is a ripoff for service, but might have some used parts in stock.

That about taps me out on local shops.  I do most of my parts ordering mail order, and do all my own work.

JP Racing in East Northpport, on Long Island works on old Bikes. I get some of my parts for my 78 550 from them and they are a good source of information.
