link to serial numbers

Can some one give me the link to check engine numbers to see what year my motor is thanks.  Well I gueaa I can stick the number in here to .  cb 750e-2529513

You don't say which engine you have, but start with http://www.sohc4.net and then go to the bike pages, select the model you are interested in and you'll find the serial number listings on the Model Guide page.

I have a 76 F1 and my engine number is CB750E-2528457

Honda CB750 K0(original and unrestored), K1(in pieces), K2(restored), F1(restored), 76 750a (awaiting restoration), 1966 Honda CB72
Suzuki GT750 1972 (restored), Kawasaki Z1 1973 (restored)

Depends where the motor was manufactured for.
USA motors would be
CB750FE- for the "F" motors
CB750AE- for the "A" (automatic) motors
CB750E- for the "K" motors

If you're in the US it's probably a 1976 K motor.

I am of the understanding that the "F" and "A" designators
were used on USA production bikes only.
