Hello, my name is John. I'm not yet an owner of one of these bikes, but I've been looking at them a lot lately. I've had my bike license for about ten years, but have only actually had a motorcycle for three of those years and haven't had one in the last three years.
My first motorcycle was a 1987 Yamaha Fazer, followed by a 1984 (or '83) Honda Magna.
I've been looking at CB750s for a while now, but haven't been able to move it up on my list of priorities yet. I really like the look of the 77-79 CB750K models. I also like the idea of getting one that needs a tune up or is in such shape that it wouldn't hurt anything for me to try and apply paint myself. For example, if I lived closer to CA I'd be all over
this one. I might also consider a 1980-1982 CB750, though it's my understanding that all of these are DOHC engines.
I'm sure I'll have some questions about these bikes, but just thought I'd say "Hi" first off.
