ok i pulled the steel material out but left the just the baffle in...it fits in the end cap to hold it so i could use it with out the baffle material. it is louder but not near as loud as when i didnt have the baffle in so it is perfect....and it does have better power I dont know if the baffle material was hurting the hp or what. This hp increase isn't just percieved either because it is louder. the first time i got on it in first gear after taking the material out I though I was going to fly off the back of the bike because I hit the throttle like I always did with the baffle and the material in it and took off way quicker.
