Lancaster County PA in a Texas Kinda Way
« on: September 19, 2007, 06:22:13 PM »
How's it going everyone? I'm a Texas transplant to Lancaster County in PA, been here for about 5 months now and just recently got back on two wheels. I picked up my current project, a 1975 CB550 which is pictured below. My build up will be posted on the forums as I get the chance to post, I'm a regional truck driver for Werner, so I'm only home a day and a half out of each week. This should keep me busy on the cold winter days and nights though, but the bike is in great shape as you can see, and I've already started working on it. I know the exhaust isn't original, so if anyone can help me figure that one out, and everything else works great, starts like new, but the headlight is always dim, yet the battery has plenty of charge. I'm at a loss, that's why I'm a n00b. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone know this exhaust?

Welcome.  I am also in PA - State College to be exact.  We have some members down your way.  Good luck with your build.  Ride safe and watch out for the Amish buggies - they are hell on wheels.
