I want the bottom one too!  It would be better in a single OHC though...  :)  Really what are the benifits of two cams? (I know probably a stupid question)  is 2 just better than one?  Any idea when, or if these will be available (not that I could afford one :'( )?

If they want to sell them in Europe they will have to be fuel injected to meet the emission laws. To get the power up to the level required by the "market" (for an 1100 that would have to be 110-130 bhp for a naked bike), they'd have to be twin cam 4 valve etc.

Serious question.

Why would Honda bother when Suzuki have deleted the GSX1400 as it can't meet the emission rules, the Yam XJR1300 is a dog and the Bandit 1250 is now water cooled.?

They have the CBF thou and the CB1300 already.

Would make sense for Honda to come out with a bike to go head to head with the Thructon and Ducati sport classic (just like the Chrager/Camaro/Mustang "retro" battle that is going on now)..

And on that note live it up now DusterDude, becasue u and I both know as SOON as the new Camaro hits the streets that little charger is gonna run and hide !

Not to hijak...  but....

Proteal is right about the Camaro. I can't tell how or why I know, but there will be models of the Camaro that will give 'vettes a run for there money. The DCX R/T's won't stand a chance and the SRT will be in trouble for sure. I'd get fired for saying anymore. Sorry.

          Uh, excuse me! Charger? I don't think the Charger will pose a problem BUT I don't guess you've heard about the Challenger, huh? ??? Now,I'm not saying that anyone's going to "run and hide", I'm simply saying, Let's just wait and see how it turns out.

Yea the new Challenger looks like it simply just bided its time since the original muscle car wars and evolved into a major player during that time...what is a pity is the fact that the plymouth brand isnt around anymore to have a Cuda counterpart to the Challenger..

1989 IROC Camaro, 32,000 miles, I barely trust it to go to grocery store. It will display the Check engine light during the drive, if not the entire duration.
It's had 5 computer replacements, a blown head gasket, unless on the freeway, the engine acts like its ready for cooking grill duty.  Longest period of time without required parts replacement, 5000 miles.  Paint lasted 5-7 years less than the Toyota, both metallic.

Fun car when it runs.
But, general motors can eat my shorts without tabasco sauce. >:(

Recently is has been reported that the U.S. cars have improved. They are now somewhere in the middle of the pack.. generally. My wife and I both drive Honda CRV's, mine a 2000, her's a 2002. Both have close to 120,000 mi. on them. The only problem we ever had was a roughness in my wife's. We took it in and it was diagnosed as needing a new timing chain. Seems they switched from a belt on mine to a chain on hers. Anyway, the estimated cost to replace (had 95,000 mi on it the time) was $700, along with some other routine maint. The dealer offered to split the cost. I wonder how many U.S. dealers would do that.

As a side note, when I was still working I was involved in some networking schemes wherein the U.S. autos wanted to somehow merge the health care business with their network connecting them with their parts suppliers. The network allowed the autos to share parts needs with the suppliers along with specks, drawings, etc. and the suppliers could bid. I sat in many a meeting and overheard comments that essentially boiled down to one thing, and one thing only, he who bids the lowest wins the contract. How many times have we heard about a $2 switch that became corroded and required a recall of hundreds of thousands of cars to correct when the possible $2.05 switch had sufficient protection to prevent such a recall. I can only imagine the cost of such a recall, and they are all too common. Unless the U.S. makers change their mentality........

Interestingly enough, some of the least reliable current models are high-end foreign.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

A 1989 Chevy is certainly not the standard by which modern American cars should be judged.

My 2000 Ford Taurus has been excellent and reliable for over 70,000 miles.  Had one failed AC compressor due to my ex-wife's misunderstanding of the electronic climate controls, but nothing else of any consequence.

My 1994 Ford Probe has over 140,000 miles on it, with nothing more than a single clutch replacement, a starter, a CV boot, and regular maintenance according to the schedule.

My 2006 Ford Freestyle is an excellent vehicle which has had no failures whatsoever in 30,000 miles.

I won't bad-mouth other marques, but I've had plenty of bad experiences with foreign cars, both European and Japanese.

I would say at least one does ...

The Ford Crown Victoria has a good quality / dependability reputation for an American made car. Ok, it's built (assembled) in Canada if that matters. My '99 Crown Vic went 160,000 miles before I traded it in on a new 2006 model. Aside from regularly scheduled maintenance, the most expensive repair was a power steering pump replacement. Perhaps that's why they are popular among taxi drivers, police officers, fleet users and old folks.
