Well, I said I was going to try to get some more of my Dad's pictures to post and here are two more.

My Mom with my Dad's Indian Chief in 1944.

My Dad in an event on a Jawa175 (crossing a creek ahead of the others ;D) in the early 1960's

I had a KZ440 for many years. I really liked it a lot. Sold it this year to a guy who wanted it for his daughter.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

This is my father's 1966 Honda 305 Superhawk with my daughter.  That is him in the background.  Photo was taken about 1983.  I still have this bike.

My daughter again, with me on my 75 CB550.  We are on our way to Grandma's house.  Grandma was not too happy.

My Mom with my 75 CB550.  She was terrified of motorcycles.  Refused all offers of a ride.

My father and I visiting friends. I am riding my 78 750F and he is on my old 550 that I gave him.  I always cherish the memories of the the two of us riding together.  It was motorcycles that got my parents to meet.  My mom's older brother and my dad rode together back in the 30's and early 40's.  My dad had a Indian Scout and a Harley.  He sold them when he was drafted in early 1943.  His interest continued, but it was'nt until 1971 that he started riding again.
This thread has been fun.  To dig out the old photos and think back.  It also makes me remember how much I miss both my parents to this day.

Thanks for the thread. ;D  ;D

You are most welcome! ;) I did this, in hopes that it would be a place where folks would post pictures like they (and you) have, but I kinda expected to get a better turnout though! :-\ Oh well, maybe with time they'll come. Sure enjoyed seeing yours though, and all the others who have come and joined in by posting theirs too! 8) ;)

BTW, I have no idea what kind of cameras were used to take the pictures I posted of my family and the Indian motorcycles.

                                      Later on, Bill :) ;)

Me and the old girl at the New York end of a trip back in '77. Yup, one of those grainy 110 pics, and to create a real visual challenge, scanned. ;D

This is the last photo I could find It was from spring of 1978.
Left to right:My 77 H-D FXE Superglide..My 1969 BSA Lightning..My fathers 75 CB550..and his 66 Honda 305 Superhawk.  Most of the neighbors thought we were a little crazy, but you can't have enough toys.  ;D
My father liked his motorcycles, but hated rock and roll music.
My mother didn't care for bikes, but liked rock and roll (That's the front end of her 66 Mustang in the lower edge of the photo), all the radio buttons were set to Detroit area rock stations.

Hey, Great pictures and the last one was also! 8) And the story that goes with is them, was great too! Always cool to hear about the times like those. As far as the motorcycles go, my Mom married my Dad when all he had for transportation WAS a motorcycle. ;) Then they liked their Country & Bluegrass music, while I had MY 50's & 60's Rock & Roll! ;) They did like some of the R & R singers though, like Elvis, Ricky Nelson and Dad liked Chuck Berry's "No Particular Place To Go". :D  Just a quick note here: My Grandfather got so sick of hearing "409" by the Beach Boys, that he threatened to sail it off across the yard! ::) ;D I Still have that 45 rpm record by the way. ;)

If you notice on the wall above the Superglide is the top of the aircleaner from my 68 Road Runner.  I would post a pic but not sure if this is the thread to do it in.
