The tank and seat were made by Benjie.  I really wanted the tank to look like a norton manx since that's my dream bike but I'll never be able to afford one. The paint is  actually metallic gold but  you cant really see it in the pictures.

A couple things I still want to do are. dual disc up front just waiting for a cheap arm that holds the caliper to come on ebay. I also made a set of rear sets but I must have measured wrong because they dont fit right.  I need to weld something to hold a muffler it's way too loud right now. I got the tank made with indents for clip ons so I'm probably going to put those on next. I also hate the side mirrors. I need some sort of blinkers too oh and get something to hold my license plate the zip ties around the shocks looks pretty dumb.

I tried the open header. Bad idea.

I got pulled over for having a vertical mount plate. Only once in a year of riding and no ticket so I may just leave it.

I finally got the carbs tuned perfect now for the header only, I think Im just going to leave it for now. I did finish a new triple tree last night, removed the handle bar mounts and will run clip-ons. I'll take some pictures when my girlfriend brings over the camera.

Very Very Nice!!! Love the yellow/gold paint, chrome accents and neat simple appearance. Is that a MAC chrome header without the muffler on the end?

Very cool!

There's something I noticed since I just back from the garage after playing with the front brake master cylinder.

If I see right you seem to have a 14mm or 5/8" dia master cyl. My guess is that your braking wont be that good.

For a single disc set up I'd go for a 1/2" master. Or is this already what you have?

Cheers & nice job

Im converting to dual disk up front have all the pieces to do it just haven't had the time. The breaking is fine right now though it is still easier to lock up the front than it was using the stock master cylinder.

I have 2 bikes a 06 ducati monster and this one.  I've decided to try and build out the Duc so I'm putting this one up for sale.

I'm not that motivated to sell it but if I could get the 4k ish I spent on the bike I'd let it go.

Well it's about 4K+ too rich for my blood but i hope some smart greebo leaps on this one!

It's a wise move for Benjie if they do feature your bike. Best of luck.

Sorry for bringin up and old thread, but I was wondering if you happen to remember what you re-jetted the carbs to for a non-muffler set up.

Thanks

Ok I gotta ask, with the open exhaust and pods, how have you got your carbs set up, needle height , jet size, blah blah. I had to go with pods due to frame modifications and have open exhaust right now till I figure out a 4-2 set up and I'm spending more time trying to tune than I am riding.
