Fixing brake hoses
« on: July 16, 2005, 10:02:24 PM »
My 77' CB750F2 has clogged brake hoses from sitting out for so long.  How can I fix them?  I figured I could use an air compressor and blast air through the hoses to clean them out but I dont know how I would seal the compressor around thehose opening so that air doesnt just come out the way it came in.  If I cant fix them where can I find a pair because they have apparently been discontinued?  They are the two front brake hoses.

Thanks
Billy

Hi Billy,

Have you thought of replacing them with stainless braided hose.?
This improves braking power and they are guaranteed for life.

your hoses are contaminated. buy new ones...they are responsible for slowing down your heap of metal filled with gasoline.
