I finally got around to taking a picture of my monster. Did you paint you rotors black or where they like that? did you take them off to paint?

That's a great looking Duke ya got their.
As far as my rotors go, thats the way they came from the factory.
Only things I have painted thus far is the stock exhaust, headlite trim ring, headlite mounting brackets, heel guards, and other little odd's and ends. I like Spraypaint  ;D
Come spring I am gonna spend some time cleaning up the front-end, and prob. ditch the carbon fiber side covers to showoff more of the frame. I also have a exhaust being built that will finally let me ditch the "udder"..

I'm taking a tig welding class this spring because it's something I've always wanted to learn how to do.   Hopefully my first project once I learn how is to cut out the udder, go straight pipe and exit at the same place as the udder. I like keeping the rear wheel opened.  The 800 runs really rich so im hoping I can run it without a power commander.

The 800's run rich (where my bike runs LEAN as hell). You should be ok with the stock
ECU no matter what you do (just dont open up the airbox AND do the exhaust.
This is prob. the exhaust I am gonna have on my scoot come spring --->
Made by a shop called "MotoCreations".
The question once they are on is if the bike will need to be re-mapped or not...?

A buddy of mine does this neat little trick where he adds clear plexiglass to the stock belt covers, so I will prob. have him make me up a set. The idea of open/spinning belts next to my leg kinda scares me, so this way I will get the look and not the fear ;D

It's funny though that the thought of an open clutch doesnt scare you - but a rubber band spinning around does.  What'd happen if your shoe lace got in the open clutch?   :o  I hear you though - with my 900 it took some extra work with moving wires etc & even after doing this if the belt did go, it'd take something with it.  On the plus side, the belts are changed every what - 3 yrs & 6k miles?  So they wont ever (assuming you keep up with maint) get bad enough to snap.  With cars I hate being anywhere near the spinning belts because of the bad stories I've heard.

I wanted an S*R bike so bad, but all I could grab was a 2005 620 with Brembo Goldlines.

Still pretty awesome though.

I love your bike, Teal.
And I'm terribly jealousof your paint scheme, Del.

Gotta have something to do at work right ?
And thanks for the kind words on the scoot, if all goes well it will be looking (and sounding)
allot better come spring...

Dude, it's coming along well. What did you use the color the pressure plate? I've done the hitemp paint on the headers before and it all fried off. I took an aggressive wool pad to get the rest off.

I added a pair of woodcraft clip ons below my triple and threw the forks 30mm above the triple. Much aggresive.

What else is pending?

My pressure plate is stock (not painted or anything)..
I would like to do something with it, just not sure what.

The only things pending on the Ducati come spring is some sorta exhaust, put the clip-on's under my new smooth top tree, lower the rear of the bike (along with my killer black kickstand I got), and some other little odd's and ends..I was thinking about doing a vertical dual headlight setup, but that is something I can mess with down the road.

I am working a H1 deal at the moment, so all my attention is in that "court"  ;D

After much number crunching their is no way I am gonna be able to swing th H1 anytime soon, AND move into the city this spring as planned. So the F-150 stays where it is, and operation "Proteal move" is still on come Spring.

Here's the exhaust that is most likely going to find it's way onto my Ducati come
spring. I am "on the list" for the first run of these, so as soon as they get made I will have
a set...
