Hello from Denmark
« on: October 01, 2007, 10:51:18 AM »
Hey all

I finally came around to getting a new bike. I had a CB500 a few years ago, and loved having a bike you can/must tinker with from time to time.

I recently bought a Honda CBX650E (I know DOCH but a nice bike still)

I have a few modification plans though. I plan to cafe it a bit. New seat (have to move around a few mounts so it will be bulky, but due to the danish laws it will not be legal if i cut the frame). Im going to swich the stock lights and dash to nice clean looking round simple ones. Ill try to design and make a rearset but that is not top priority. perhaps a new tank, and clubmans/slipons.

All in all a bit of a project but I have all winter and no money so It'll be fun :)

Welcome! I hope that you are not as big as my friend Kim from denmark, as you will look really strange on a little cafe!! He is 6'7" a true Danish viking!! Best of luck with your build. If you ever have a wild itch to get a tattoo Henning Jorgenson, in Helsingnor, is the best tattoo artist in all of europe!
Cheers, from Las Vegas

Hey Dave.

Well Im not quite as big as your friend Kim. Im a more normal 180 cm which is around 5'11".

Actually I have been looking for a good tattoo artist. Helsingør is a bit out of reach though at the moment, as well as me having an empty wallet :) But thanks for the tip :-)
