I’ll be sure to put the video camera close to the engine so that you can here the mechanical noise.  I love the sound, but it is a bit worrisome after all the work.

Don't worry about the noise, ours was the same when we got rid of the megaphones.

If you are getting oil coming out of your breather do what we did and fit 2 more breathers on #2 and #3 inlet tappet covers, we've had no problems since.

     After reading Mike's last post I got reminded of Andy Kaufman singing the Mighty Mouse theme song on SNL. I checked Wikipedia for any links to that theme and found this at the bottom of the Mighty Mouse listing.

Mike was going to come out this weekend from Boston and pull my engine and reseal the bottom end, but now there is no need.  I knew that I could fix this myself.  Thank the Heavens, cause that was to be a ton of work and I am about tired of putting things back together.  Thanks for all the advice guys, this bike is now moving.

With a big hammer.  I bent the stud over the case.

With an o-ring and high-temp thread sealer, i let it cure for 24 hours and bingo!  It worked for now.

The leak was coming from one of those APE crank studs, so with the thread sealant and "O" Ring, were you still able to maintain the torque spec on that stud? Did you have to re-torque all those studs in order again? Cheers, Terry.

Yep, it torqued right up.  I did check the torque all of the studs.  They are solid.
