very impressive Okie! I am glad the deadline (floating now as it may be) served to light that proverbial fire under your proverbial ass.
DME- always nice to see your scoot, despite the ensuing tank-envy.
Cyclone- if you had to pick one submission, which one would it be? or should we put it to a vote?
without any further ado,
the (perhaps final) progress report:
1)Sparty's 750 Cafe: need a pic of the new and improved hot rod version
2)ProTeal's 450: NOT a SOHC and not a 4
3)Andy's Sandcast 750 resto: no longer embroiled in controversy
4)Canyon750's 'modified' 750F: don't call it a ratbike
5)Kieths' 350 resto: beautiful and potentially making its second appearance in an SOHC calendar
6)Doug Id's 550 cafe: first cafe submitted (sparty's was conscripted)
7)Cyclone's 750 Art-Chopper: most original submission so far (IMHO)
8)Superbiker_UK's Dunstall Cafe'd 750: Terry likes it, it's in! and now even better in black
9)Fuzzball's half-caf 750: very nicely done
10)Derek's 350 scrambler resto: too pretty to deny
11)Grumburg's benly 90: now with much more compelling after photo, (can you say shoe-in for a fall month)
12)MrZyp's nicely cleaned up Jap550: more rescued than restored, but well done all the same
13)DME's much coveted 750 cafe: another repeat offender of calendars past
14)Cyclone's other 750 chopper: he dont need no stinking swingarm
15)Okie's 350 cafe: simple and elegant, like a calendar should be.
and that's it as the rolling deadline comes slowly to pass
I am giving all interested until monday morning EST to make the decisions harder, as right now if i limit it to one submission per person and leave out the two bikes that where in last years calendar (dme and kieths) i have twelve rockin examples and no decisions to make. Everyone on the list should make sure i have both a before pic and an after pic from you at the highest resolutions available (i will be becoming aware of this as i construct the calendar, but if you address the problem before i get to your bike, it would surely rule), as well as email klerkkant@gmail.com with 1) an address to send the calendar to, 2)how you want your name displayed on the page with your bike, 3) how you would like your bike described.

thank you o glorious calendar maker for allowing me to be immortalized. please send the finished product, of the highest quality no doubt, to my work address:
Klark Kent
Daily Planet
300 Main St. Suite 855
Metropolis, NY 10001
and please include my full name and describe my scoot thusly in my months caption:
Klark Kent's barely respectable kinda stock 1975 CB550K
because of you 2008 will certainly be the best year ever
thanks,
klark

thanks to everyone who took the time to submit- without you there would be no calendar. and thanks to Terry for bumping the thread, without you i doubt as many folks would have seen the thread/submitted pics. we make a damn good community together. and if i havent made it clear, this calendar WILL BE FOR SALE through this site via Heffay's beneficence. I can't say if it will be available before christmas- i will try and get the files to him by the second week in December- but we all know how heffay's finals are.
