Anyone have any suggestions for the felt washers on the swingarm bushing for K4.  I dont think i need new bushings but the felt washers are no good.  (They go between the cap and the busihings to refresh your memory)

I got all of my "odd parts" @ my local honda dealer>>(westernhillshonda.com) quite cheap amazingly enough, my 500 had nylon caps or spacers over the bushings.

"Instead of the factory felt washer which the oil bled through like a sieve, I use 3/32 cross-section o-rings in the rocker box caps and put a slight chamfer in the inside of the box. Leaks are gone forever.  The o-ring material is Viton, because it's oil and fuel compatible and will not swell like some other materials.  Another preventive measure is spreading five-minute epoxy on the bolts to eliminate oil weepage through the threads."

This is according to this  restorer.

I wonder if you can just make it out of a leather piece.
