Topic: Supertrapp Exhaust Tips

Anyone try these out?  Saw these while searching and thought they looked pretty sweet.  A bit pricy, but with the adjustable discs, you could tune the sound.  I wonder how they mount on from rear?

Here is my CB750 with a 3" inlet Supertrapp on the 4 to 1 exhaust. There is a bracket welded on the outside that lines right up with the rear pass. peg. I guess you can see that in the photo
Anyhow,  the motor is stock, it sounds great, all of the baffles are off, stock airbox with 4 2" holes cut in the back, K&N filter, 135 mains, lowest notch on the needle.

If you want a "generic" alternative, this place sells VW buggy parts and a good Supertrapp style baffle for cheap.  They've got some that look just like what you posted (but without the name brand on the side).  The disks are interchangeable with the real thing too.

Thanks for the feedback guys.  And Jim, that is a good looking GS.  

I'm googling some sites as we speak to shop around for best prices.  I might stop in at the local shop to see if they can work out some deal.  I'll keep you posted.

I used to run 5 plates on hwy-mode (mellow and really kills top-end), 10 on banzaii-mode (bellows and really wakes-up top end)
