Topic: New cb550 owner

Well, just wanted to introduce myself - my name is Matt, and I just bought a 78 cb550.  I am impressed with all the information on this site!  I am excited about tinkering!  My past bike was a 95 cbr600f3, but that had to go when I got married.  I have mostly been into vehicles, custom trucks and 1927 t-bucket, but I finally got back into the motorcycle scene.  The 550 is all stock and I am still in decision on how I want to go with it.  The pics in the gallery are so tempting!!  Look forward to many good conversations with you guys!

thanks for the warm welcome!  I'll try to get some pics up soon.  My cb is the K model, with the his and hers throne couch/seat.  That is the first thing I am considering switching out.  I just like the flat seats better.  THanks for the link on the manual.  The cbr was my mid-20's deal, now the cb550 is my mid-30's deal!  I have always like the older bikes, they always get the looks at the local hang outs.
