andy,
i bet me and my girl could fit on your seat no problem. my frame stops where the wedges on the bottom meet the shock mounts (i moved the one that ties the tops together forward) with my stock seat on she knows she can't go further back than the shocks and we never have a problem. were both pretty skinney though (i'm 5'7" and 140, shes 5'4" and about 95)

Yeah you probably could...I was just being difficult - sorry  ;)

But to me the purpose of a manx-style/cafe-style seat is solo riding. Its that low racer-ish profile, hunched over, back bent, slid back into the hump....I would personally use a stock seat for 2 up riding and change over when solo....of course I have 2 bikes that does the same job - one for solo cafe riding and one for 2-up riding (with stock k2 seat) ;D

cheers
Andy

Amen Saviour 750 Chopper frame

I used this seat on my 1st bike.
I wanted the tucked in feeling of the rear bump and the lowering of the center of gravity, but still needed to be able to rely on the bike for trips for 2 ;D.

Sometimes you need to settle with something in between.

The new build in progress is a solo bike. ;D

I've got the "short" Manx seat from clubmanracing.com on my 400.  It has about 12" of seating surface.  The "long" version has about 15 inches before the hump.  Maybe you could measure that off on your stock seat and see if both of you fit.

Be warned these seats are not built for comfort  - it's like sitting on a piece of plywood.  You'll probably get some complaints from your passenger.

thanks for the tip, I didnt even think about the comfort issue. Is it stressful after a few miles or manageable? I love the look of your bike
