Topic: 550F custom muffer question

I just bought a 550f exhaust for my 550k and I would like to put a different style muffler on it. I really like the old school trumpet mufflers or the dunstall mufflers. My question is none of them seem to have a big enough opening for the header and I am worried if I use a reducer that it would hurt the performance.

you'll have difficulty making the F headers work with a K frame. it's doable, but not without some work. the entire right side foot controls on an F are different to clear the headers. if i were you, i'd figure that out before you buy a muffler.

Hmm, cancel that order. Looks like I have a MAC exhaust in my near future.
