White seat lettering

you know the white honda lettering on the back of the seat, mine is faded out i was wondering if there is a way to redo/repaint it?

That's a question I have not seen here before.  I would probably take it to a guy that does detail and mural painting.  We have one here in WI.  I bet he would know what paint to put on there.  Might even be able to use that base lettering for the primer coat.

I guess you could use "white wall" tire marker.  You can get that at the local auto parts store.  I always thought that the Honda letters were more off-white.   ???

www.siriusconinc.com used to sell Honda stencil for the seat. I think the original lettering is a little silver.

Depends on the type/year of the bike. My '73 CB750 has "HONDA" in silver, but my wife's '78 CB550 has it in white.

I'd recommend the Dupli-color upholstery paint. That stuff sticks to vinyl, leather, soft and hard plastic.

I saw it used on some Ford Focus's. It's pretty nice stuff! ;)
