Topic: What head torque should I use for a 750 big bore?

My top end on the K0 750 project is going to be installed probably Thursday. The pistons are 64mm. The studs are aftermarket, brand unknown. Should I stick to the stock torque on the stud nuts or go tighter. Will the bike be prone to oil leaks if I don't increase the torque?

And while I'm at it, among the parts that came with the bike is a NOS camshaft holder. Only one. It seems a shame not to use it. Will it have ill effects on the cam shaft if one holder is new and the other original? The original holders look fine. I haven't spec'ed them.

 I'd 20lbs is safe with with some engine oil as lube

I stick with the stock cam holders, too. No sense in mis-matching anything, you know?

Thanks, guys. I'll do twenty pounds and, as much as I hate not using this brand new cam holder, I also don't want to spring $120 for another new one. I can find several better ways to spend $120 on this project....

Are the studs straight, or undercut in the middle like oem. What color are they?
