Need help tracking down some rings!!!!!!!!!!!
« on: October 11, 2007, 01:51:20 PM »
Hey Guys
Just bought a 555 big bore kit and need some help tracking down some rings.  It came with a one piece oil ring and I am wanting a 3 piece.  Has anyone found any before or used aftermarket rings for a 555 kit.  I don't have a clue how to measure these.  Any info would be great..................Chris

all I now is that is a 555 big ore kit, and I'm pretty sure they are ART Pistons though.

As Mike said we have discussed this already. Send a piston or all 4 to Hastings or Total Seal and let them fit rings. If they don't have ready made rings that fit your pistons then they can cut your pistons to the rings they have. I don't think you're going to get off as easy as you are hoping on this so just find a box and ship 'em out!
