I'm ALMOST finished with the project.
I have sewn two seat covers that fit like a glove (one just for a backup) Total cost.. under $25 for materials at the fabric store.
I think what has happened to my project is that its transformed into a hybrid.. 78K frame and tank... K side covers(not on yet), F seat and rear cowl.... and my personal engine mods which i'll classify as " 750 SS.... haha.. my brother did a heck of a job on the paint and stripes for me. (Kudos John!) I'll post up some more pics of it in a couple of days...
The car shown is what inspired me for the blue. The exact same on the bike... it looks a WHOLE LOT better in the sunlight... exactly like the car... pearl /metalic with 5 coats of clear.... and its not even buffed out yet !!!
