Saying Hello
« on: October 16, 2007, 07:17:53 AM »
I figured I should say hello. I used to montior this board along time ago when I was around 16. My father was helping me build up an old 1970 CB750K. The finished project had a custom wiring harness, electronic ignition, custom rear shocks, Tracy fiberglass body(Red), 970cc kit, RC cam, ported & polished heads, Lester Mag wheels, and chromed & ported carbs. I rode this bike for a number of years before I sold it.
I looked the group back up because I rencently discovered a horde of 750 parts in my garage and figured it was time to do some cleaning. Hopefully I will get an item list and some pics posted shortly.
Anyway. Hello to all and it is nice being back, if only for a short time.

Welcome...but why only for a short time? Why sell them when you can amass more parts and get a new project underway??? Could it be that soemone has finally found a cure for this sickness???

I don't know what you would call it. I am in graduate school, I work full time as a engineer, and I have a 18 month old daughter. I guess you could call it a lack of time. I don't think the sickness ever goes away. If anything it gets worseif you don't feed it. I miss my old ride. I still have a 1986 Honda Shadow. The fun with the 750s was all the tweaking possibilites. You know what I am talking about. Finding excuses to re-syncronize the carbs, even though you just did it last week.
