CB750F side covers

where is a good place to get relacement side covers for my 76F?  dont need them to look NOS as im gunna paint them

dont know where you are mate, but here in aus  they are as rare as rocking horse sh*t...
other than through someone on the boards here the best place is LPM, they do damned good repros, their website is

ican get a set from them cheaper than i can buy them on ebay here

you have emgos on that bike - if you are going to paint them might as well prep. Otherwise - good luck, I buy every set I find locally and I don't even get them cheap anymore. There is a guy making repros new and DSS has repros too but they will still bang you $50 a side.

someone going in and out of the shop broke them while they were off.  i wanted to get new ones to have painted to match the CR tank and seat but didnt think that this was a $100 idea.

you had the maier ones and if you don't mind having them again they are not a $100 solution.

FYI every drag bike I ever saw at the track that had side covers had them made out of sheet aluminum.
