Real men use CHAINS!

Anyways, you must lube a o-ring chain. You must also clean it. The difference is that you do not have to do it as often as with a regular chain.

After using Oring chains for a number of years now....I'll never go back to....the others, but hey now I just can't say how much I like my '77 Goldwing and it's shaft.  What's really surprised me tho is that over 35, it out handles my SS.

Not to be a problem-causer, but have you ridden an early 70's, or even better, 60's BMW?
Yes, our CB's are full of character, but rather pale in comparison on the character front when in the company of a vintage bmw, or guzzi, for that matter....

You like your Wing?
Mine (75 Wing) feels like my 78 550 or my 72 500. I'm getting a 77/76 750F going and was hopeing it handled better than my Wing.
Shaft drive is nice.
I love riding it in through twisties.

I was brought up with early BMW's and Guzzi's, my older brother and had 4 old BMW's (R69S, R75 x 2, and R100RS) and my best friend had a Moto Guzzi T3 and LM1. Great bikes for sure, but to compare an old Euro bike to an old Jap bike is comparing oranges with oranges, they're all full of "character".

The comment I made about my own shaft drive bikes were about much more modern machinery. Certainly there's no "paling into insignificence" here mate, if I wanted to still have early Euro bikes, I'd have them, but (hopefully) like most of the members here, I prefer my Honda's! Cheers, Terry.
