Interesting. Even more interesting is the pricing. Some "standard" jackets with a bit of armor cost almost as much.

So what happens if you forget to disable it and get off the bike to refuel or when you get home. Is everyone in view treated to a rendition of the Michelin Man? ;D

According to police, McPhatter was ejected 100 feet, hitting the ground at an impact rate of 140 mph.

What the hell?  How did he manage to reach 140mph worth of downward force?  Do they mean he was ejected 100 feet STRIGHT UP?!

i want to know just how fast he was going..............to hit at 140mph you have to be going at least that fast................terminal velocity for a human falling straight down is 132 mph, in other words you cant fall any fatser than that.

Well if you factor in the speed of Earth's rotation.......  ??? ;)

Whenever I read about that jacket, I think of the flotation device demonstration in Airplane!  ;D

That is very cool.  $395 isn't too bad considering the ICON jacket I want is $600 and it's only leather.
