Isn't there supposed to be a vote button? Or are we moving away from the secret ballot approach?  :D

Last month 4 bikes, really hard to choose, this month 2 bikes really hard to choose. Neither is a bad choice so I'll have to think some more :-\

Well you two congrats, both bikes are super. However I like the fact that rxmangriff still rides the bike he bought new. That does it for me!

Like you I bought my K3 new and it's still my only ride. Good luck.

Thanks Guys.. A pleasure as always to be a part of Bike of the Month.
Hoping this winter to really take the bike to another level of refinement. Full carb rebuild and a some more cosmetic details with Polished parts and Chrome. I've got the bike now in the shop getting New Chain and Sprockets and Spitfire Tires (raised White Lettering)being installed.

Peace..and Happy Halloween

Edosm,

I gotta say you have done one helluva job and have a nice bike. Impressive. I'm definitely in good company. The improvements just never seem to stop do they?! Something about "till death do us part" relates to these SOHC4s! I think the word "part" in that phrase means NOS, new, replacement, etc. I think the only part I have not collected for mine for it's upcoming ground up restore is a new frame and I know where I can get one if I want it. So much for my daughter's inheritance  :). Looking forward to seeing phase 2 on your's.

You can say that again Jerry,
Guys and there toys..it's to funny how we take objects like.. cars and bikes and personalize them to a point of an addiction.
I thought for a while I shook the addiction of modifiying cars (maybe).. Then would you know it.. one day I'm watching a motorcycle show and figure..Hey I can do that.
Sure enough I'm tapping into savings account and selling items on ebay inorder to scrounge up enough money for my bike project, inorder to quench the thirst of being creativite and ripping things apart.

Congrats Mike. Well done indeed. You have a sweet bike.

Thanks Heffay and to all that voted.

I have some tricks up my sleeves for the next year or two so stick around. How about a 2 in 1 bike?

Thought that would get you  ;).  Simply put I plan on a full ground up show quality restore using all the boxes of NOS and new parts I'm collecting (still need a new set of bars and left hand control), powder coating extensively, rechroming if necessary, using the NOS 900 kit I'm sitting on and all the internal tricks we've been reading about PLUS I have a NOS Flake Sunrise Orange tank and tail piece with a NOS seat to go along with my current blue set. The only question left is "Do I feel orange today or do I feel blue?"
