Looks like Yamaha's jumping on the air-cooled retro wagon with this 1000cc prototype:

      I think the Vtwin looks nice but it would be refreshing to see an inline four (SOHC, or at least a resemblance of one) Retro. ;)

I was thinking more along the lines of their venerable transverse twin, like the XS650. Always like the look of those.

I don't know why they have to go for the harley look. I'll take an inline four any day over a v- twin. But then there's only 1 harley I'd ever want anyhow and that's a "stock" 1965/66 Sporster. But I couldn't afford it even if I could find one. I'll just keep my 750/4.

because that's what "IN" right now. Everybody wants a criuser, didn't you know?
Personally, I like the V-Twin engine design (I own a Ducati, what do you want? ::) ) BUT I agree that it would be refreshing to see a Paralell twin grace the frame of a "retro" bike.
