NEWBIE/OLDIE
« on: October 16, 2007, 05:03:38 PM »
First of all I wanted to say HI to everyone on the forum.  I was born in cleveland  and are living 30 miles west at this time.  Moved to Calif in 69 through 80 and did a lot of traveling in the Coast Guard from Alaska to Key West.  Settled back in Cleveland area in early 80's.  I grew up riding 2 stroke Suzuki's a Puch 250 and a cb350 71  and a 70 450cl.  I got out of riding in the mid 80's till around 1997 and the past 10 years have been crazy to say the least.  (99 Drifter, 01 Thunderbird, 75 FXE, 77FLH , 53BSA, 67 BSA Lightning, which are gone unfortunately but I have a 71 tr6 bobber now. So what brings me hear you ask?  Well when I was growing up in Ca. on the 350@450 A good friend had a first year 750 and I thought some day, and it has been out of my mind for quite a while till today.  I was on the way home and seen a 750 four on the front lawn out in the country chained to a tree and stopped to take a look it said 1972,  500.00 or offer.  Seemed a little high for the shape of it but it did say offer!  The only thing is I am trying to figure out if it is correct or pieced together.  I will make another post with questions. Just wanted to say Hey  Geno

Welcome.

Always good to see another Coastie on the board. I retired last year after 30+ years. Semper Paratus!
