CB550 4-1 and pods jet size

Im trying to get a ballpark on what size jets to get for my cb550. Ill be running 4-1 and pods. What kind of jets are you guys running?

I have no idea what year your bike is but based on my 76 k1 im going to say 110-115 main jet maybe to start.

110-115 sounds way too big to me. are you running stock airbox or pods? the F model (stock 4-1 with no other changes) runs 98 mains, which are smaller than the K models which run 100's. unless you can state your exact mods from stock, noone is going to tell you what to run unless they have made the same changes, and even then i'd be skeptical to believe someone else's judgement. the best tuning is firsthand.

Its a 1974 CB550 non f model, Im planning on running a 4-1 exhaust and pods. No other mods.

I have a 76 550K with 4-1 and velocity stacks.  Right now I have 110's in there and it is running pretty good.  This next spring I will need to do a plug chop to verify that all is good.

Im running pods and a 4-1 header. I'm using a 110 main jet on my 76 k. I'm sure that will be different on the F.
