Carb cutouts - intake, right?

Silly simple question, but I managed to turn two of my carb slides around. The cutouts go toward the air filter, right?

I thought the carb bodies were keyed to prevent reverse installation...

The slides on 1 and 2 are opposite of 3 and 4. You can put 1 and 2 in 3 and 4, they willb e backwards.
I did the same.

Yes, the cutouts go towards the filter.
