I saw the original Lynyrd Skynyrd twice back in 75.....my Navy days down in San Diego.......there ain't s$#t on this planet compared to seeing them do the song Free Bird from within 25 feet of the stage......nothing like it.......thats why they call me the Breeze!!!!!!!!......Another name comes to mind Bill Graham........responsible for a good amount of the great concerts we enjoyed on the California west coast back in the 70's-early 80's. I attended the free concert they had in his honor at Golden Gate Park,San Fran....back in the 80's......another very memorable event.

I was there for that too, MrB. That's when I was stationed in Alameda, it was 1991. Let's not forget another helicopter crash about a year earlier that took the life of Stevie Ray Vaughan.  :'(

Geez, I saw Stevie Ray playing on TV only a few months before his death, he was brilliant! What is it about celebrities (particularly musicians) and aircraft? Spooky! :o
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Poor bugger, he had everything he could want, but a little privacy, and a good dietician............  :o
