Topic: Last Ride of the Season!

Took my 74 CB550 out for a final spin of the season and just wanted to says thanks to everyone here who helped me through the numerous problems I came across with it. I think I would have resold it if I hadn't of come across this site.  (I got this bike in the spring and its my first older bike).  But it sure has been running good lately and I learned plenty.  I am no longer scared of wrenching on carbs!  And I wouldn't sell it for the world now.

I could have probably had a couple more weeks of riding, but I snapped the throttle return cable and/or lost the carb spring on my rip home down the highway.  lol  It was quite fun riding throught the city revving at 6000, but I got it home.

 I had been having some issues for the past month, so I missed out on a lot of the end of summer. But there should be a few dry days coming up, so I think I'll get a few more in. Probably in another month or so I'll be tearing her down to do a new top end, so my last day will be soon...
