Yesterday was the annual SOHC New England Fall Ride and we had 7 - 8 riders at any one time. I met up with Chris (Frostypuck) on his Goldwing at 8.30am and headed over to Natick via some very colourful backroads. Ben (Azuredesign) and Mike Rieck turned up around 9.30am and then Scott (S-Dog) and his father (Tom) turned up later. Chris would not be riding much further due to leaky coolant but the rest of us primed with coffee and some detailed maps/directions from Ben who had planned the route set off along Rt27 and into a perfect day - blue skies, warm temps (low 70s) and some amazing Fall foliage. At times it felt like we were riding through a forest fire as the reds and oranges exploded from the trees and the reflections in the lakes and ponds gave the impression that even the water was on fire. My sunrise orange tank blended into the scenery as did we as we sped along the backroads. Too many roads to mention and Ill let the pics and videos do the talking. Thanks go to Ben for leading the pack and organizing the route. Great day out!
cheers
