Wiring Harness Ground
« on: July 20, 2005, 10:16:18 AM »
Hey guys,

It is time to say goodbye to the previous owner's passion for electrical tape and twist connectors (they will be missed). I am really trying to sort out the electrics and have one question:
Where on the frame is the wiring harness eye connector intended to connect? The previous owner had it connected directly to the battery. Which in my non-professional opinion seems like a very very bad idea. Where should it go? Oh, i should mention the bike is a 71 cb750.

thanks,
john

I was told that its goes under the seat connector( its grounded to the frame)  Thats where i put mine on my new harness, which seems like the perfect spot

Dunno on the 750 but the 500/550 one connects to a ht coil mounting

Yep, On the CB750 the large eye connector on the heavy green wire attaches to the lower seat latch mounting bolt.
