Reminds me of the pictures at the end of the book "the cobra in the barn", for those who have read it. I know some people might think it's ok to let a few cars deteriorate once in a while, but I will never agree with them. Old cars like that have so much more soul and charisma than anything for sale nowadays. I could never imagine letting that happen to any old piece of machinery be it a car, motorcycle, tractor, etc. A picture like that just makes me sad and want to rescue the old thing and get it running....

I'd agree with you, but it makes me wonder if people will be saying the same thing about cars today in 20 years.

Also, on a side note, I'm presently in a bout with poison ivy on both of my arms.  Terrible stuff...

I cannot divulge the exact location of these cars--30 vehicles, or so.-Photo essay not complete.
It looks like someone found the spot quite a while ago, but nobody recently-
except me.
They're in New Jersey, of course.

IF they do it will be proof positive of the decline of our society. Today's cars have no character compared to the iron of yesteryears. Sadly, finds like those pictured are almost extinct unless you want to pay thousands for them on ebay. If I found 30 old cars in one place I would buy them up in a heartbeat, keep the 5 best, and sell the others to fund the restoration.
There are old bikers and there are bold bikers but there are very few old, bold bikers.
