Topic: Santee box

I have a question for my fellow choppers which I can't figure out for the life of me. I just made a Santee box for all my electrical components. Can anyone tell me how I mount this box to the engine block? All the instructions I find online including Hondachopper.com are extremely vague when it comes to this topic. All help would be greatly appreciated

I figured but how can that be achieved if the box won't sit flush with the case because it's sitting on top of the torque converter?

All pictures I have seen appear to show a slight space between Santee box and engine case, suggesting the bolts that are used aren't completely tightened down to case, making the engine case not as secure as it would have been if Santee box were not there lol. Hope all that made sense

Thats what I did - but not on an auto though.



I went for the look at the time, but TBH that box turned out to be a PITA, especially when the carb bowls needed to come off

Yea the fit is super tight. I'm just determined because to have all my electronics in tat box is super convenient.

I guess I could use some input from someone who has done this on the automatic with the huge torque convertor. Not a ton of information on this model from lack of ppl owning one

a santee L shaped box wont fit on a matic. put up a post for Rusty on hc.com. he makes a couple of different boxes. his smaller box will work. he is a real good guy and his pricing is even better.
